The duo Klangbild, consisting of Ronny Mai and Michael Pfütze, is based in Leipzig. They first gained attention with their first release “Kreisstatt Grimma E.P” on Kellermusik Records and in 2015 on Hardfloor Records, as part of the “Versus Series 3” compilation.
Klangbild were big fans and personal friends of Andreas Gehm, who unfortunately passed away in 2016. Despite this loss, the duo continues to produce and perform, bringing their unique sound to clubs around the world. Their love of analog machines and commitment to live performances make Klangbild a force to be reckoned with in the world of electronic music.
Klangbild is known for its live performances using a number of analogue machines, most notably the Roland TB-303. Their debut album “Echoes of the Future” showcases their unique sound and the influence of Andreas Gehm on their music.
